Online Tools
Online Tools for Writers
The links below are from the class I recently taught at the 2010 Montrose Christian Writers Conference (Montrose, PA). It is a highly subjective list. These are all tools I either use very regularly, or believe justify sharing because they will benefit writers of all types, fiction and nonfiction alike. All of these tools are “cloud based” – meaning available in your web browser. And they all are free. Some have premium aspects, but it is my opinion that the free portion (for those with a paid component) are good enough to be used on their own.
Watch this blog, JamesWillis.net, for a series of posts explaining what each of these tools can be used for, and why I included them. Sign up for email reminders (top right of this page) so you don’t miss my updates!
